About Me

Here are a few essentials about me, my life, and the blog.

I'm in my mid-twenties and live in San Francisco with my husband.

A gnome named Richard used to live with us in our old apartment, but now he lives right outside our door and greets all our neighbors as they walk by. I am shocked no one has stolen him yet. I would steal him if I had the chance.

I love to cook, eat out, read cookbooks, and try weird food I know I am going to hate. I am a bit of a foodie. Exhibit A: I have read and color coded the San Francisco Zagat Guide. I created the blog for my own recipe reference and to house recipes that I am too lazy to write down and keep somewhere.

I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I am a mormon. My faith shapes a lot about who I am and I'm glad to be a part of something so meaningful.

For years I want a West Highland White Terrier so badly that I could almost birth it. When Andrew and I got married we immediately began picking out puppy names. Most people lie in bed dreaming about baby names, we did dogs. We finally got a dog about 2 years after being married and named him Stanley! He is so stinking adorable.

Then

Now - he never quite grew into that head

My blog posting is sporadic at best, but basically covers all the things that make up my life: mainly food and cooking but also a bit of traveling and random tid bits. I hope you enjoy it!
